NEST High Efficiency Erlenmeyer Flasks
- The body is made of polycarbonate (PC), which meets the USP Class 6 Standard, with high transparency, has strong impact resistance, oxidation resistance and can withstand a high temperature up to 121°C. Theres a scale made by injection molding on the flask · body to facilitate observing the filled liquid volume.
- The wide-mouth neck design is convenient for sampling and liquid filling.
- No DNA or RNA enzymes, no pyrogens
- Sterilized by E-Beam
- Packaged in sterile bags
Newly added 3 L wide-mouth high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask
The bottom diameter of the 3-L wide-mouth high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask is consistent with that of the 3 L high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask, and its mouth diameter adopts the neck size of the 5 L high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask, which not only saves space usage, but also increase oxygen flux, so as to increase the efficiency of cell culture.
Material
PC Bottle & HDPE Cap & Nylon Handle, Vent caps with 0.2um hydrophobic filters for gas exchange without contamination.
Application
Ideal for shaker culture applications.
NEST Cell Culture Inserts
- Innovative hanging design facilitates pipetting.
- Supplied in multiple well plates: 6-well, 12-well, 24well.
- PC membrane: low adsorption rate, reducing the loss of small molecular proteins and other compounds
- Transparent PET inserts permit sufficient optical transparency for visualization of cell outlines by phase contrast microscopy.
- Transparent PET membrane is easy to observe.
- The PC membrane is not easy to be torn or curled, and it is easy to operate when taking out the chamber.
- Compatible with most solvents used for fixing and dyeing.
Attention
- Attachment of cells grown on a permeable support (membrane) is sensitive to the initial seeding density, so the initial use should be inoculated with different density guarantee optimal growth;
- During the cultivation process, the liquid should be taken through the gap between the upper layer and the hole. When adding liquid, be careful and slow to avoid the damage of the membrane;
- Incubation of the permeable support in the medium prior to culturing the cells can improve cell attachment and distribution.
Guidelines
- Pre-equilibration: After added culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate and inserted the insert, please placed it in the incubator for at least one hour or overnight.
- Fix and stain cells directly in the nest, and use a scalpel to cut the membrane for long-term storage. Before using please add culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate, then insert the insert and add the culture solution which included cells to the insert.
- Before using please add culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate, then insert the insert and add the culture solution which included cells to the insert.
- Pre-equilibration: After added culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate and inserted the insert, please placed it in the incubator for at least one hour or overnight.
- Check the volume of the culture medium regularly and add fresh medium as needed.
- The cell layer can be directly fixed and stained in the nest using basic cytological methods. Note Avoid using solvents that dissolve the PC film.

- Before using please add culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate, then insert the insert and add the culture solution which included cells to the insert.
Material
Multiple well plate or dish is made from PS.
Application
Permeable supports, also known as cell culture inserts, are an essential tool for the study of both anchorage-dependent and independent cell lines.
This product produces a cell culture environment that closely resembles an in vivo state. Allow polarized cells to carry out metabolic activities in a more natural manner because the cells feed both apically and basolaterally.
Application: co-culture, epithelial cell polarity, migration, invasion, transport and permeability studies.
NEST Transfer Cap for High Efficiency Erlenmeyer Flasks
Two-Way Liquid Transfer Cap
The two-way transfer cap is used along with a 2L, 3L or 5L shake flask to
connect a liquid inlet tubing with the required device. The liquid transfer
is achieved by connection of a peristaltic pump between the shake flask and
the device. Upon completion of the transfer, the transfer cap can be
replaced with a vent cap for culture.
Multifunctional Liquid Transfer Cap
Unlike the two-way liquid transfer cap, the multifunctional transfer cap
can be directly placed in an incubator for culture after the liquid
transfer is completed. It can reach a large air flux. The sampling part is
composed of a sampling nozzle and a one-way valve, which can prevent the
liquid from flowing backwards during the sampling process and ensure the
aseptic sampling. The liquid inlet tubing is provided with a PTFE needle
filter, which solves the issue of liquid remaining in the tubing during the
feeding process.
Inverted Liquid Transfer Cap
The inverted transfer cap is used along with a 2L, 3L or 5L shake flask to
connect a liquid inlet tubing with the required device. When liquid
transfer is required, the liquid is transferred under gravity with the
inverted shake flask.
Application
It is applicable to liquid transfer and culture during mass proliferation of bacteria and suspension cells.
Product Features
- Closed transfer reduces the risks of contamination during liquid transfer
- The cap is molded and connected in an integrated manner, reducing the risks of leakage and media residues
- A variety of tubing diameters are available and aseptic welding of liquid inlet tubing under normal conditions is supported
- High-quality materials and smooth inner wall of the tubing provide an excellent transfer performance
- Sterility level (SAL) is maintained at 10-6
- Endotoxin-free, and no ingredients of animal origin
