Our patented Cryogenic labels (Cryo-Babies are the small sizes and Cryo-Tags are the larger), are flexible polyolefin labels that withstand conventional and cryogenic storage conditions (vapor and liquid phase nitrogen storage at -196°C). The labels are chemically inert with a solvent resistant acrylic adhesive that will adhere to all plastics, glass and metal. Cryo-Babies and Cryo-Tags will withstand boiling water baths at 100°C and dry heat up to 150°C without cracking, peeling or degrading.

Cryo-Babies and Cryo-Tags resist most detergents and oils, as well as many organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling. They will resist water soaking for at least 24 hours at room temperature and water vapor (100% relative humidity) at 35°C for at least 24 hours.

Tough-Tags® are chemically inert labels that strongly adhere to microtubes, test tubes, storage boxes and other microscope slides. They are temperature resistant from 121°C to 40°C and withstand autoclaving, boiling water baths, freezer temperatures, organic solvents and caustic agents. For best adhesion it is recommended that siliconized surfaces be avoided.

Tough-Tags® are perfect for accurately identifying important samples stored in tubes, microplates or boxes that will be autoclaved or stored in moderate freezer temperatures.

Cryogenic Labels

Labeling frozen vials, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags and other containers can be a challenge when storing in temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius.

We offer with a high-quality adhesive that can stick to already frozen vials and other objects. The adhesive on this type of label will adhere to a surface in wet and/or cold conditions. The adhesive on the label is specifically designed to stick in temperatures below 80 degree Celsius and as low as 196 degrees Celsius. When storing in deep freeze liquid nitrogen or vapor phase liquid nitrogen our Cryo labels will stay in place. MIDSCI's Cryo labels are resistant to smearing without any additional lamination. They also won't become brittle or cracked.

Our cryogenic labels are made of thermoplastic film and coated with a glove-friendly cryogenic adhesive. This special adhesive let the label to remain strong and sticky so that it can be securely attached to stainless steel, aluminum, paint, powder coated metal and iron.

Providing a high quality of the Cryo label is essential for laboratories, researchers, (etc.). It will provide fewer errors, better accuracy, more proficiency, and all of this leads to better results at a better budget.

These come on a roll ready for your use in a lab!

110158 & 110178 | 17 x 100 mm Plastic Tubes with Dual Position Snap Cap

These plastic culture tubes are produced in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation. polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable. Tubes with dual position snap caps (LDPE) provide either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples. Note - Leave the dual position snap cap in the loose position for aerobic work and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.

110414, 110415 & 110440 | 12 x 75 mm Plastic Tubes

These plastic culture tubes are produced in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation. polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable. Tubes with dual position snap caps (LDPE) provide either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples. Note - Leave the dual position snap cap in the loose position for aerobic work and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.

118115C | Universal Caps, Fits most 12 mm, 13 mm, & 16 mm Tubes

Guard samples against cross-contamination and laboratory work areas against infection and spillage with these universal snap caps. Precision molded from low-density polyethylene and designed to fit firmly on the tube. Closures are very sturdy under most rigorous procedures, including centrifugation.
These polyethylene (PE) universal caps are designed for easy-on and easy-off use. Cap removal is simple and quick. Universal caps are ideal for recapping most 12 mm, 13 mm and 16 mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes. Flexible closures protect from aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms. Not suitable for autoclaving.
