PR1MA Luria Broth 1 Liter Buffered Capsules [Miller's LB Broth]

Each capsules has 25 g.  The 500 g package has 20 capsules, the 1 KG is 40 capsules and the 5 KG is 200 capsules.

RPI Media is now available in convenient pre-measured and pre-mixed capsules. Pre-buffered media eliminates messy weighing and pH adjustments.


Simply dissolve 1 capsule per 1 Liter of distilled water. Water must be 37°C or warmer to completely dissolve gelatin capsule. Agitate. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes before use. Buffer is set for 7.2 at 20°C using a 10mM solution of Tris/Tris HCl. pH will vary depending on temperature.


For maintenance and propagation of E. Coli. High Salt Formula. Molecular Biology Grade.
