The XUB range of digitally controlled benchtop ultrasonic baths offer consistent and reliable performance in a variety of environments. The Beadblaster™ 24 completely lyses, grinds, and homogenizes a broad variety of biological samples. Even the most difficult and resistant samples are fully homogenized, often in 35 seconds or less.

The stainless steel tube carrier subjects up to 24 samples to an optimized, high speed, 3D motion, producing high energy impacts between the samples and microbeads that releases cellular contents. After homogenization, samples can be centrifuged and the supernatant collected for further processing.

Operating parameters for the Beadblaster™ 24 are set and displayed digitally. To protect fragile, heat sensitive samples, the unit can be programmed to operate in shortened consecutive cycles with a rest period in between. Up to 50 such programs can be stored in memory and recalled for future use. A transparent lid allows for visualization of samples and features a mechanical lid lock that prevents opening when the Beadblaster™ 24 is in operation. A brushless motor reduces motor noise and provides maintenance free operation. See below for kits for use with the Beadblaster™ 24.

Shortwave UV Light for Surface Disinfection
The Mystaire® line of UV light dead air boxes are designed to provide powerful UV irradiation energy to effectively kill bacteria and viruses on the surface of various objects.  The UV Box is designed with a microprocessor controller that constantly monitors the operation of the UV bulbs.  The microprocessor controller has a digital UV time that permits the end user to set the irradiation time up to 59 minutes.  Each UV Box is equipped with a door position switch that turns off the UV light if the door of the box is opened.  The door position switch, in combination with the microprocessor controller, only allows for the UV lights to be turned on when the door is in the closed position.

The UV Box’s main chamber is constructed of thermally fused polypropylene and the clear door is polycarbonate.  The polycarbonate door has the natural ability to reflect UV light and does not allow transmission of the UV energy, thus making it the safest choice for a clear viewing material.

Disclaimer:  End users should consider material compatibility before exposure to UV light as repeated exposure to shortwave UV light has been found to damage certain materials. The Mystaire UV light box is only designed to provide UV-C surface disinfection. This product does not sterilize.

At only 13 inches wide, the PR1MA™ Mini CO2 Incubator is the smallest and most economical incubator for applications requiring CO2 gas control. Its small footprint makes the incubator ideal for use inside of biological safety cabinets, isolating sensitive cultures or for any laboratory simply trying to conserve bench space. With a thick layer of high efficiency insulation surrounding the chamber, the incubator is also ideal for transportation of cells. Once power has been disconnected, the incubator maintains temperature levels within 10% of the set parameter for up to 1 hour*. In addition each model includes a 12V vehicle power adapter for operating the instrument in a car, boat, etc.

Both temperature and CO2 percentage are digitally adjustable and displayed in real time on the large LED control panel. This panel also features a “Cal” function, for easy in-lab calibration of the temperature or CO2. In addition, humidity (up to 80%) can be added to the chamber by inserting the included (stainless steel) humidity reservoir.

The CO2 level is constantly monitored using dual beam infrared sensing technology. In the event of a drop in CO2, audible and visual alarms are triggered, notifying the user of the error. Despite its small size, the incubator features a relatively large 20 L chamber with the capacity for flasks and bottles up to 2 liters. Two removable, stainless-steel shelves are included. The shelves are perforated to improve airflow within the chamber. * If disconnected from the CO2 supply, CO2 percentage decreases by approx. 1%/30 min.

Polystyrene (VIS) and Methacrylate (UV-VIS)

Optically superior designs specifically for fluorimetry make this an excellent choice for nephelometry and spectrophotometry. A negligible variation in absorbance between the 4 optical sides allows readings from any side.

The polystyrene cuvettes are accurate in the 340nm to 750nm visible spectral range. The methacrylate cuvettes are accurate throughout the 285nm to 750nm UV-VIS spectral range.

Standard 1cm light path
