MIDSCI has a full line of liquid handling products including laboratory pipettes, pipette tips, pipettors, reagent reservoirs, aspiration systems, and pipette controllers.
Some liquid handling products are known to have safety issues and others are prone to errors that lead to poor results.
Our liquid handling products keep in mind the basics, like price and quality, but also go one step further to solve or pre-empt these and other issues researchers (and even the planet) may face.
For instance, the aspiration systems we stock are known for performance but also for safety. Our pipettor calibration service ensures reproducible results. We carry unbreakable transfer pipettes that avoid glass hazards. And we even have eco-friendly reagent reservoirs!
PR1MA™ Pipette Tips were meticulously designed using a specially formulated NoStick® resin to provide researchers with the highest level of liquid handling performance. PR1MA™ Pipette Tips were created with the belief that when it comes to liquid handling, less is more.

PR1MA™ tips are purposely designed for a much cleaner liquid release. Less time spent waiting for the final drop to fall from the end of a tip. AlphaPette™ Pipettors are designed for exceptional comfort and accuracy. Combining ease of use: lightweight; well balanced; comfortable fit in the right or left hand; and accuracy, the AlphaPette™ is the perfect addition to your lab.
The adjustable thumbwheel is slightly recessed to prevent unintentional change and is protected from the effects of thermal expansion by the insulated body of the pipette. For convenience, volume can also be adjusted by turning the push-button.

- Manufactured with highest grade PS, extremely break resistant and robust
- Reservoir offers large capacity Vols in a compact, ergonomic design. It augments the total Vol capacity without adding proportionate length to the pipette

MIDSCI Pipette Controllers are lightweight (only 6.3oz/170g) and designed to fit comfortably in either the right or the left hand. The natural feel of the ergonomic body design, the computer balanced weight distribution and the low pressure fingertip control buttons...all combine to provide a more comfortable pipetting experience.
The attached Quickstand, retractable kickstand, allows the controller to stand on the bench without removing or emptying the serological pipet. The stand also holds the pipet at an angle which prevents the flowing of liquid to the filter and nosepiece. When it's not being used, the Quickstand flips back into neutral position where it doesn't interfere with normal operation.
